The Center for Microelectronics & Image
Processing studies was established in the end
of year 2005, focuses on : Assisting to make
the Vision and Mission of Gunadarma
University notable information technology
development, maintain relationship and make
cooperation closer with overseas universities,
especially, université de Bourgogne, France.
The center aims to be a place for lecturers,
doctorate students of information technology,
master and bachelor program in doing their
research in related fields. This center also aims
to assist the university research institute in
improving scientific publication and research
productivity. .
Research
Focus of current research : CMOS Images censor, VLSI Design, FPGA-VHDL, Compression technique, Face Recognition, etc.
The center for microelectronics and image processing studies at Gunadarma university has the Mentor Graphics software for designing CHIPS by using Hit-Kit AMS ( Austrian of Micro Systems) technology. This Center is located Graha Simatupang Campus 10th floor. Currently the head of studies is Dr. Eri Prasetyo Wibowo
